Janice Dickinson Defended Her “Antm” Behaviour

The realisation that America’s Next Top Model was not the show we thought it was ranks among the most disappointing things that have ever happened to us in our lives.

When viewed in hindsight, the experiences that the models were made to go through were often cruel, insensitive, and just plain cringe-inducing.

At the time, however, it appeared to be enjoyable entertainment.

When it came time to assess the models, Janice Dickinson, who appeared on the show in her capacity as a judge, did not pull any punches and was widely considered to be the most forthright of the panel.

And despite the fact that she has been subjected to a great deal of criticism for the things that she has said and done — she was just recently attacked because of a resurfaced clip in which she voted “no” on a contestant named Robin Manning because of her weight — Janice claims that she has “no” regrets about her actions.

She gave this explanation in answer to a question posed by a follower on Instagram regarding whether or not she “regrets” her behaviour: “It was acting.” “And that’s all there is to it.”

Prior to this, Janice had stated that she was counselled to behave similarly to Simon Cowell from American Idol, whose forthrightness contributed to the success of the show.

She told Oprah, “When I was hired to do ANTM, Tyra [Banks] hired me to be like a female Simon Cowell, to be feeding, in negative way, stuff about the girls.”

“When I was hired to do ANTM, Tyra [Banks] hired me to be like a female Simon Cowell.” “Tyra is a formidable entrepreneur, and she is an excellent TV host. I admire her accomplishments as a woman.”

Janice asserts that she does not have “any” regrets regarding the things that she has done, despite the fact that she has been the target of a great deal of criticism for the things that she has said and done (she was just recently attacked because of a resurfaced clip in which she voted “no” on a contestant named Robin Manning because of her weight), despite the fact that she has been the subject of a great deal of criticism for the things that she has said and done

She provided the following justification in response to a query that was given by a follower on Instagram addressing the subject of whether or not she “regrets” her behaviour: “It was a performance.”

“And that sums everything everything in a nutshell.”

Prior to this, Janice had stated that she was counselled to behave similarly to Simon Cowell from American Idol, whose forthrightness contributed to the success of the show.

In this context, “forthrightness” refers to the candour with which Simon Cowell judges the contestants on American Idol.

She shared with Oprah that “Tyra [Banks] hired me to be like a female Simon Cowell, to be feeding, in a bad way, material about the ladies” when she was hired to work on “America’s Next Top Model.”

“When Tyra [Banks] hired me to do America’s Next Top Model, she hired me to be like a female Simon Cowell,” I said. “Tyra is not only an impressive businesswoman but also a wonderful host on television.

I respect the things she has accomplished despite being a woman.”

Tyra, on the other hand, has come around to the idea that the broadcast had “some pretty off decisions,” and she has praised viewers for their “honest comments.”
