After the First Round at the Masters, Tiger Woods Made a Telling Remark

Tiger Woods made his long-awaited return to competitive golf with a remarkable first-round 71 at the 2022 Masters on Thursday, just over a year after being involved in a horrific vehicle accident.

Even though he finished the day with a 1-under par at Augusta National, the international golf sensation wasn’t feeling well this morning.

Tiger told ESPN how he felt heading into today’s round after coming off the 18th.

“I didn’t have a great warmup.” “I smacked it rather hard,” he said.

Perhaps Tiger just needed to settle down following his first competitive round in 17 months on the course.

On his first-day swing, the 46-year-old golfer mishit his tee shot just right of the fairway bunker. After coming up short on his second, he had a lot of work to do to get up and down for par. On the other hand, Tiger did precisely that after leaving himself a nice putt.
