Residents from New Jersey will receive $1.4 million from the American Rescue Plan to maintain their low-income support program beginning in 2022. Initially, the scheme distributed debit cards worth $400 per month to 110 low-income users.
The city has not yet specified if that money will be paid to homes this time. But, when the program is reintroduced, Patterson Mayor Andre Sayegh promised that it will be expanded.
Remaining Relief Payments
Last year, qualifying participants were required to have yearly incomes of no more than $30,000 for individuals and no more than $88,000 for families in order to be eligible for stimulus cheques.
Gov. Phil Murphy stated that efforts to provide universal access to high-quality full-day preschool are increasing across the Garden State.
He stated that the Department of Education will begin a $120 million grant for preschool facility expansion on March 1. The funds are provided by the Federal American Rescue Plan.

Preschool Grants Under American Rescue Plan
The governor also announced an additional $2.6 million in supplemental start-up preschool assistance for 33 school districts.
He mentioned that over $11.4 million was recently granted to 16 school districts to construct or expand preschool programming for the 2022-2023 school year.

Even though Congress decided against authorizing additional stimulus checks in the year 2022, individuals might still be due a relief payment. Three phases of economic stimulus spending were authorized under the administrations of both Trump and Biden.
