A guy was arrested Sunday after a lady was found with at least one gunshot wound inside a Kendall house, according to investigators. Miami-Dade police officers responded to a “suspicious incident” shortly after 3:30 a.m. at a home in the 6200 block of Southwest 109th Avenue. According to officials, cops arrived to find an open door to the apartment and a woman with at least one gunshot wound.
According to police, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived and brought the victim to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in stable condition. According to Miami-Dade authorities, the Hialeah authorities Department received a 911 call shortly after from a guy who informed them that he was involved in a shooting in Kendall. Hialeah police arrested the man after discovering he was engaged in the shooting on Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Miami-Dade police verified that the suspect had been transferred to their custody. Neither his nor the victim’s identities have been disclosed. “The MDPD’s Special Victims Unit, Domestic Violence detectives have taken over the investigation,” an MDPD representative told Local 10 News via email. “We do not have their identities, familial ties, or any further details.”
