Miami police are looking into a stabbing that happened Thursday afternoon outside a well-known Wynwood brewery.
As per the authorities, the incident was reported just before 1:40 p.m. outside Cerveceria La Tropical, situated at 42 NE 25th St. As police encircled the premises and entered and exited the establishment, Sky 10 was overhead.
A Hispanic guy in his 30s was the victim, according to police spokesperson Officer Kiara Delva, who said he was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for medical attention on his wounds. “The victim indeed sustained a laceration to his neck and forehead due to a stabbing wound,” stated Delva. She verified that one individual was being held for interrogation.
“At present, the victim and the detectives are having conversations to ascertain the specific events that may have occurred between them,” Delva stated. “It’s unclear whether there was a verbal argument or another problem between them.”
Authorities stated there was a personal relationship between the victim and the individual they had apprehended. No further information was made public right away.
