Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are releasing details from their private wedding in Italy, which took place four months ago. Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley’s 22-year-old son, revealed photos from their wedding on Wednesday in coordinated Instagram posts. Bongiovi titled his image, “Forever and always, your husband,” while Brown added, “Forever and always, your wife.”
Brown tweeted photos of herself wearing a couture Galia Lahav gown with a cathedral veil during and after their wedding, as People and The Cut reported. In the final photograph, she is seen blowing bubblegum on the dancefloor while wearing a strapless satin minidress and what appears to be her new husband’s bowtie. This appeared to be her second reception gown; she also donned a floor-length white lace Oscar de la Renta gown as she and Bongiovi cut their huge cake under a canopy of disco balls, according to a shot published on her Instagram Story.
Bongiovi tagged Tom Ford in his image, which shows him sporting an ivory suit jacket, black bowtie, and black dress pants. One of the photographs shows him posing with his father, Bon Jovi, who is dressed similarly. Matthew Modine, Brown’s onscreen father from “Stranger Things,” is also seen officiating the marriage.
The modest event took place at estate Cetinale Roman, a baroque-style estate in Tuscany, Italy, according to wedding photographer Sandra von Riekhoff’s Instagram post. Von Riekhoff described the event as “a relatively intimate gathering of friends and family, brought together with expert level and ultra inspired event design.” The breakout star of “Stranger Things” and Bongiovi got married in a “very small family wedding,” as Jon Bon Jovi explained on BBC’s “The One Show” in May. Bon Jovi acknowledged the couple’s nuptials, stating that they are doing “great” and “absolutely fantastic.”
“The bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is as happy as can be,” Bon Jovi remarked in a concert clip released on X (previously Twitter). “It’s true.” The newlyweds formally acknowledged their marriage in a shared Instagram post in June, disclosing that their after-wedding festivities took place at Universal Orlando Resort. In the first photo, taken from behind, the couple is competing in a water blaster race, with Brown wearing jean shorts with the word “wifey” printed across the back. She also wears a backwards cap that says “wife of the party.”
