In Clackamas County, a 79-year-old lady who vanished on Monday night was discovered safe on Wednesday.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), someone recognised her automobile from the news and contacted the authorities after finding her in the Mount Hood National Forest close to it. After being brought to the hospital for treatment, she appeared to be unharmed.
Penelope Staley vanished on Monday at around 6:15 p.m., and WSCO has requested the public’s assistance in locating her. The Estacada sheriff’s office stated that her phone was last seen by location services at approximately 8 p.m.
WSCO was worried that because Stanley takes a key drug, she might be acting on delusional thoughts.
Before Stanley was discovered, Bob Coombs, Stanley’s boyfriend of 12 years, told FOX 12 on Wednesday that he thought she had gone to send a parcel on Monday afternoon.
“She’s lost, that’s all I can come up with, there’s a stretch of road out in front of her and she followed it, that’s all I can come up with,” said Coombs.
Since her discovery, no further details have been made public.
