To teach players how legislation might avert catastrophes in the future, five different laws are included throughout the game.

A player can choose to either survive or win the game if they gather all the cash.

Joaquin was killed in the school shooting while he was barely 17 years old.

Since his passing, Manuel and Patricia Oliver, his parents, have pushed for laws restricting access to firearms and opposing gun violence.
