A 23-year-old man was arrested for reportedly killing his best buddy and left his body in the desert the day after the victim’s birthday.
According to KNXV-TV, Alijah Bradley was last seen in Gilbert on August 12, one day after his 24th birthday.According to KTVK-TV, Bradley’s family reported him missing to the Gilbert Police Department on August 15 after he did not show up for work. Bradley’s mother informed KTVK that she traced his phone to his friend Samuel Bush’s residence, but when he switched it off, the tracker disconnected. His relatives were able to discover his car’s coordinates and provided that information to police.
On August 19, law enforcement apparently found Bradley’s automobile near Gila Bend, a tiny town south of Phoenix. Bradley’s family told KTVK that the recent college graduate was dismembered and shot. Bush was first detained on many narcotics charges, but on September 6, he was charged with second-degree murder, abandoning/concealing a dead corpse, and tampering with physical evidence. Bradley was allegedly “Sam’s best friend” and “only friend.”
According to KNXV, Bradley recently graduated from Northern Arizona University and worked as an engineer. His aunt, Melissa McNeal, told KNXV, “It is horrible. He was just entering maturity. I don’t feel any relief because it doesn’t bring him back. It does not solve anything.”
