Reality television star Abby & Brittany conjoined twin Abby Hensel reportedly wed army veteran Josh Bowling in private.
In 2021, Abby, who is now 34 years old, and Bowling exchanged wedding vows, as evidenced by public documents obtained by Today.
A Unique Celebration of Love
In Minnesota, where Abby and Brittany instruct fifth grade, the couple resides, according to the publication. Bowling, on the other hand, is a nurse and veteran of the United States Army.
Conjoined twins adorned in a white lace gown in the Hensels’ Facebook profile picture, which seems to depict them at the nuptials. Bowling attended the wedding ceremony donning a grey suit and a white button-down shirt.
Bowling has contributed to the conjoined twins’ Facebook with a variety of photographs taken on various occasions, including a snow tubing excursion and a trekking excursion. His fatherhood was also mentioned in his biography.
National Institutes of Health documentation identifies Abby and Brittany Hensel as dicephalus conjoined twins, an uncommon subtype of conjoined twins in which the pelvis is fused side-by-side.
Since they possess distinct organs, including minds and hearts, they support their two heads atop a single torso. Since Abby controls the right leg and arm and Brittany controls the left leg and arm, they share all organs and the bloodstream below the waist.
Since their 1996 appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the twins, who were born in 1990, have not disclosed their ordeal to the public.
Their lives after graduating from Bethel College in Minnesota and preparing to teach in Europe were chronicled on their own TLC reality program, Abby & Brittany, which premiered in 2012.
They also disclosed on the reality show how they coordinate routine tasks such as grabbing supplies from the pantry shelves and preparing for a party.

Conjoined Twins’ Wedding
The twins’ parents, Mike and Patty, discussed the possibility of their offspring entering into matrimony at some point in a 2001 interview with Time magazine.
Prior to Mike’s “why not?” remark, given that other conjoined twins had entered into matrimony, he noted that his daughters had inquired about the possibility of them eventually finding spouses.
Doctors estimated that there was only a small chance that both Abby and Brittany would survive the procedure; therefore, Mike and his wife disregarded the notion of separating the twins at birth. He posed the question, “How could you choose between the two?”
