Former NFL quarterback Vince Young got into a videotaped brawl at a club in Houston, bringing attention to an unexpected incident that happened inside Joe’s Shot club on February 4.
In the video that is becoming viral on the internet, Young is seen fighting angrily with a different customer in front of a large crowd of people while sporting a white hat, shorts, and a black shirt.
Conflict Escalates with More Participants
Tensions grow and fights break out as more people get involved in the conflict. Things get more heated and someone eventually throws a punch despite efforts to stop Young. Just in time to stop chaos from erupting, Young jumps in the direction of the attacker.
Bystanders try to defuse the situation during the altercation, but the fighting doesn’t stop. After a while, Young is singled out, and a third man gives him a sucker blow that knocks the former NFL player to the ground.
The proprietor of the bar said that the fight started because of a discussion over race, according to reports from the Houston Police Department. After someone asked the group to leave, things got violent, and there was a physical altercation that was caught on camera.
