Bill Goldberg Expresses Displeasure Over Undefeated Streak Ending Against Japanese Wrestler

Another legendary wrestler, Bill Goldberg, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the WWE and its top honcho, Vince McMahon, following Ronda Rousey’s harsh criticism of the company.

Legendary in his own way, Goldberg recently appeared on a podcast and voiced his displeasure with his time working for the WWE.

Calling Out McMahon

In 2003, Goldberg became the first person to join the WWE more than 20 years ago, and he expressed the same discontent with McMahon as Rousey did. Often interpreted as a show of respect for older wrestlers, he memorably called McMahon “a piece of s**t” in late 2023 for not giving him a retirement match.

Recently, during an appearance for the Nothing Left Unspoken podcast, he let out his frustration at Asuka, whom he mispronounced as having ended his winning streak of over 100 bouts in 2017.

Reflecting on the moment, Goldberg expressed disbelief, stating, “Well, a girl beat my winning streak, beat my undefeated streak. I can’t even remember… Asuka was her name, some Japanese girl.”

During his time in the WWE, Goldberg took part in two WrestleMania matches; he was defeated by Brock Lesner in 2004 and again by him in 2017. WrestleMania 40 is almost approaching, and fans are excited to see what happens in Philadelphia in April.

Goldberg’s open comments provided insight into the inner workings of the wrestling business, highlighting the difficulties and intricacies that even the most recognizable characters must overcome.

The fact that wrestlers from the past and now are still talking about their experiences highlights how the professional wrestling industry is still changing and being closely watched.
