A court hearing over Stefanie Lambert’s recent disclosure of internal emails from Dominion Voting Systems resulted in the well-known pro-Trump attorney being shackled on Monday.
The arrest, which was carried out due to an existing warrant linked to Lambert’s failure to appear at previous court sessions in Michigan, marks a significant turn in her legal battles.
Sheriff Leaf’s Controversial Disclosure
Lambert, along with a group of election deniers, orchestrated the release of thousands of Dominion’s internal emails, reigniting baseless claims of voter fraud. This controversy escalated when Lambert provided confidential documents to Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf, known for embracing conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 election.
The leaked documents, obtained through Lambert’s representation of former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne, have diverted attention from Dominion’s defamation lawsuit against Byrne over his election falsehoods.
Lambert’s actions not only risk legal consequences but also pose a threat to Dominion employees’ safety, with reports of new death threats emerging post-disclosure.
