The NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel have been at odds for some time.
Kimmel has accused Rodgers of endangering Kimmel’s family and threatened to sue him over remarks he made in an interview with “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Aaron Rodgers Sparks Controversy with Epstein List Comment on McAfee’s Show
The dispute began when McAfee’s co-host, A.J. Hawk, brought up the imminent release of names tied to convicted sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein. In response, Rodgers quipped, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are really hoping that doesn’t come out.”
Kimmel, angered by Rodgers’ comments, took to social media, denying any connection to Epstein and warning Rodgers that his “reckless words” put Kimmel’s family in danger.
While there’s no indication that Kimmel’s name will appear in the Epstein documents, Rodgers mentioned him in connection to the list’s release. Kimmel previously mocked Rodgers’ comments about the Epstein list on his late-night show, referring to him as a “tin-foil hatter” and suggesting a need to revisit the concussion protocol.

Kimmel And Rodgers Feud Intensifies
The feud between Kimmel and Rodgers has roots in previous instances, including Kimmel’s criticism of Rodgers’ anti-vaccine stance.
In November 2021, Kimmel joked about Rodgers testing positive for COVID-19 and missing a game, highlighting the quarterback’s misleading statements about vaccination, resulting in fines for both Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
The recent exchange on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ reignites tensions between the two celebrities, with Kimmel not only challenging Rodgers’ remarks but also threatening legal action. As the controversy unfolds, it adds another layer to the complex dynamics of public figures clashing on social and mainstream media platforms.
