Maine Residents Face Extended Power Outages in Storm Aftermath

Kennebec County emerges as the hardest-hit area, with approximately 28,000 outages still unresolved. This county experienced a higher incidence of outages compared to others during the storm on Monday, intensifying the challenges faced by residents and businesses in the region.

In response to the widespread outages, Central Maine Power has undertaken restoration efforts, providing affected customers with estimated restoration times. The utility company has expressed the expectation of restoring power to the majority of customers by the close of Saturday, underscoring their commitment to resolving the issues promptly.
