According to Tired of Winning by Jonathan Karl, Trump abruptly hung up on Kardashian during a 2021 phone call regarding a clemency case.

Their association began in 2018 when Kardashian visited the Oval Office, advocating for the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a woman serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense.
