Tragically, early in the morning hours of a fateful night, beloved 21-year-old bartender Brianna Long of Remerton, Georgia, was shot and killed.
Authorities are diligently investigating the circumstances surrounding her tragic death, which has sent shockwaves through the community.
Georgia Tragic Shooting Incident
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported that the incident took place as Long and her colleagues were closing the bar and had already stopped serving customers. At approximately 2:30 a.m., an altercation outside the bar led to a shooting. Long was struck by a bullet, and although the GBI has not disclosed if there were other injuries, it was mentioned that several vehicles in the vicinity were also hit.
Brianna Long was rushed to South Georgia Medical Center, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. A GBI medical examiner is set to perform an autopsy as part of the ongoing investigation, aiming to uncover the details surrounding her untimely demise.
