VA Disability Benefits: Mark Your Calendar for November 2023

The VA Disability Payments program was created by the United States government to acknowledge and honor the contributions and sacrifices made by veterans.

United States veterans hold a special place in the hearts of the nation, and rightly so. These brave men and women have selflessly dedicated a significant part of their lives to safeguarding our country, often returning from service with physical or mental disabilities.

Timing for VA Disability Benefit Payments

For 2023, there’s good news for veterans receiving these benefits. The government has approved an 8.7% increase in VA Disability Benefits, providing much-needed relief for veterans and their families.

However, knowing when to expect these vital payments is equally important, and veterans can rest assured that a clear schedule is in place.

First and foremost, it’s crucial for veterans to understand that VA Disability Benefit payments for a specific month are made on the first business day of the following month. In cases where the first business day falls on a non-business day or a holiday, the benefits are disbursed on the last business day of the preceding month.
