Israeli President Isaac Herzog has made a shocking revelation, alleging that Hamas attackers were found in possession of instructions on how to create chemical weapons.
These materials were discovered during the search for the bodies of terrorists who had stormed Kibbutz Be’eri, where a significant portion of the residents were either killed or kidnapped.
Israel’s Decision to Release Raw Footage
The declassified material was made public in advance of Israel’s plans to release raw footage of brutal attacks on civilians that occurred on October 7. These attacks resulted in the tragic loss of over 1,400 lives, with at least 200 people being taken hostage.
Israel’s decision to share this harrowing evidence is aimed at countering what it has described as a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon, where some individuals cast doubt on the scale of the atrocities.
While Israel has received support from major allies, including Britain and the US, in its right to defend itself following these attacks, significant pro-Palestinian demonstrations have taken place in cities around the world.

Concerns About Chemical Weapons
The documents, according to Israeli sources, were found on a USB drive recovered from one of the Hamas terrorists. They contained instructions on how to create a cyanide dispersion device.
A classified cable that was sent to Israeli embassies worldwide contained these details, and a copy of it was obtained by Axios. The cable alleges that this finding points to an intention by Hamas to use chemical weapons as part of its terror attack against civilians.
Initially, Israeli embassies were instructed to share the details with host governments but not to make the contents public. When details from the cable were leaked, neither Israel nor Hamas offered comments on the information.
President Herzog made the information public, emphasizing the seriousness of the circumstance. He stressed the severity of the situation and referred to the materials as Al Qaeda material. We are dealing with ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Hamas, he said.
This is how shocking the situation is where we’re looking at the instructions that are given on how to operate and how to create a kind of non-professional chemical weapon with cyanide.” This alarming revelation has added a new dimension to the ongoing conflict, raising concerns about the potential use of chemical weapons in acts of terror.
