Israel has offered evidence disputing its responsibility for a catastrophic explosion at al-Ahli Hospital, which allegedly caused over 500 casualties.
Israel vehemently denies its involvement in the incident and instead points the finger at Palestinian terrorists.
President Biden’s Concerns and Israel’s Response
According to Israeli officials, the fatal blast was the result of a rocket failure originating from Palestinian terrorists. They assert that two Hamas operatives were captured on record stating that the rocket was fired by another Palestinian terror group, Islamic Jihad. This new revelation raises significant questions about the true cause of the devastating explosion.
The timing of this disclosure is noteworthy, coinciding with the arrival of U.S. President Joe Biden in Tel Aviv. This visit marks one of his most forceful public displays of support for Israel since the conflict with Hamas erupted in southern Israel on October 7.
President Biden reportedly expressed his concerns to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that the explosion may have been caused by a different party and not Israel.

Israel Defense Forces Exonerated from Involvement
Netanyahu, in response, squarely placed blame on what he referred to as barbaric terrorists in Gaza, stating that they were responsible for the hospital attack, exonerating the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from any involvement.
Tragically, the hospital was reportedly filled with thousands of people seeking shelter, alongside hundreds of patients and dedicated medical staff.
The reported death toll of over 500 innocent civilians is based on Hamas’ claims, but it’s important to note that this figure has not been independently verified.
The release of this evidence and the international discussions surrounding the incident have added a new layer of complexity to the ongoing conflict.
The conflicting narratives underscore the need for a thorough and impartial investigation to determine the true cause of the hospital explosion and hold those responsible accountable.
