A 6-year-old boy from Georgetown, Texas, remains in critical condition over a week after a horrifying attack on September 11.
The assailant, identified as 39-year-old Daniel Logan, allegedly broke into the boy’s home and assaulted him with a baseball bat.

Authorities have charged Daniel Logan with aggravated assault and injuring a child with a deadly weapon. Logan’s attorney has not yet responded to media inquiries, and he is yet to enter a plea. Court records show that he has been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies received a call around 5 a.m. on the day of the incident. Logan, armed with a baseball bat, allegedly broke into his neighbor’s home and brutally attacked Jeremy, also assaulting his own mother, who had followed him into the house in an attempt to stop the rampage.
