Nissan, a prominent automobile manufacturer, has announced a significant recall of more than 236,000 Sentra compact cars in the United States.

Upon contacting dealerships, initial inspections will be conducted to identify any bent or broken tie rods.
Subsequently, dealers will replace these components as an immediate safety measure.

Free Tie Rod Replacements and Commitment to Safety
Moreover, once an updated and reinforced design is available, both the left and right tie rods will be replaced at no cost to vehicle owners.

As part of the remedy process, the automaker will initiate a mailing campaign to notify affected vehicle owners.

However, cars addressed in that prior recall will still need to receive the new tie rods as part of this current action.
In addition to recalling the affected vehicles, Nissan is advising Sentra drivers to remain vigilant about their vehicle’s steering performance.
Any driver who suspects their steering is unstable or off-center is strongly encouraged to contact their local dealer without delay.
