US Government to provide stimulus check payments in 2023; some states still distributing aid to support businesses and consumers.
Below is a list of states that are still expected to receive stimulus payments in 2023:
Colorado
For individuals in Colorado who filed their 2021 taxes on time, payments of $750 for singles and $1,500 for joint filers have likely already been received by September 30, 2022.
However, for those who filed an extension by the October 17 deadline, their payment may still be pending and is expected to arrive no later than January 31, 2023.
Georgia
Georgia is offering a 2022 Surplus Tax Refund to eligible taxpayers. The refund amount can range from $250 for single or married separate filers to $500 for married joint filers.
Heads of households can receive up to $375.
To qualify, taxpayers must have filed their individual income tax returns for tax years 2021 and 2022 by the April 18, 2023 deadline (or by October 16 if an extension was granted), had a tax liability for the 2021 tax year, and be a Georgia resident, part-year resident, or nonresident.
California
California is in the process of distributing the $1,050 inflation relief checks authorized in 2022, with only a small percentage of payments remaining.
About 5% of payments are set to be distributed by January 15, 2023.
Eligibility for the rebates is determined by income, household size, and tax-filing status, with singles earning $250,000 or more and couples earning at least $500,000 deemed ineligible.

New Jersey
The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) property tax relief program is providing eligible taxpayers in New Jersey with up to $1,500. Over 1.7 million residents have applied for the program, according to Gov. Phil Murphy’s office.
Payments will be made through direct deposit or check and will be distributed by the state Division of Taxation until May.
