As Medicaid renewals begin again in Louisiana, the state health department is issuing a warning about potential scams.

The Louisiana program may contact you soon regarding your health insurance policy, as renewals have resumed.

If you get a call from someone claiming to be from the Louisiana Department of Health and asking for personal information, hang up immediately.

Anyone claiming to be a representative of our company who asks for money to keep your Louisiana coverage in effect is doing so illegally.

One thing you can do to help stop scams is to make sure that we have your current contact information so that we can send you the real, official renewal notice.
