Working Family Tax Credit
Working Families Tax Credit is now available to low-income Washingtonians. The exact amount is determined by household income and the number of dependents; it ranges from $50 and $1,200.
Joint payers with two children earning less than $55,529 are eligible for up to $900. To qualify, you must be a parent who filed a federal tax return for 2022 and lived in Washington State for at least half of that year. You can make a claim by submitting an online application to the Department of Revenue Washington State until December 31, 2023.

Washington Stimulus Check Requirements?
Individuals and families who meet all of the following qualifications are eligible for the Working Families Tax Credit:
- Possess a current Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
- A minimum of 183 days in Washington state (over half the year).
- Are between the ages of 25 and 64, OR have an eligible child in 2022.
- Filed my federal tax return for 2022.
- Those who are eligible to claim the federal Earned Income Tax Credit on their 2022 tax return (or would meet the requirements for EITC but are filing with an ITIN).
- You must meet specific income requirements.
WFTC eligibility is determined by income and family size. The maximum credit for a single individual is $300, with a $300 increase for each qualified kid, up to a maximum of $1,200 for a family of three or more children.
