Checks worth up to $302 direct payments available in Colorado; Here’s how to apply!

Residents of Boulder, Colorado, with low and middle incomes, will soon be able to apply for a rebate program that could offer them extra money to spend on food.

According to the city of Boulder, the Food Tax Refund Program is available to its citizens every year and pays applicants $99 for singles and $302 for candidates with a family.

How To Qualify For Colorado Direct Payments?

To be eligible for this refund, an applicant must have lived in Boulder for the whole 2022 calendar year and be 62 years old, disabled, or have a family with children under the age of 18 in the household throughout 2022.

Furthermore, an applicant’s income cannot exceed a set limit that varies by family size, with the maximum being $43,900 for individuals, $50,200 for a family of two, and $56,450 for a family of three, with the limit increasing slightly as the household size grows.

Any city resident who does not have permanent shelter in the city and provides documentation demonstrating that they are getting treatment from a city-recognized homelessness services provider is eligible for reimbursement.

When To Receive Checks?

Applications for this rebate will be accepted beginning March 1. Following that, the state will accept applications through June 30.
