Russia-Ukraine war: Highest rate of Russian troops deaths since beginning of war

Russia is losing Russian troops at the fastest rate since the opening week of the war almost a year ago, with 824 men dying every day, according to UK officials.

The UK Ministry of Defense made the startling allegation on Sunday, citing Ukrainian General Staff reports, but stated it couldn’t confirm Ukraine’s methodology. This is more than four times the pace of 172 per day during the same period last year.

Deaths Among Russian Troops Reported

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the biggest number of casualties were reported during the start of the war last February, with 1140 casualties per day. The graph shows how the number of Russian soldiers killed on the battlefield rises in August and gradually rises throughout the year.

According to the Ministry of Defense, “The uptick in Russian casualties is likely due to a range of factors including lack of trained personnel, coordination, and resources across the front – this is exemplified in Vuhledar and Bakhmut.

On Saturday, Ukrainian forces blitzed 31 Russian tanks in Vuhledar, the latest blow to Mad Vlad’s men. A drone captures a sequence of explosions as the Russian force is trapped on an isolated route.

According to a Moscow military station, the 31 vehicles lost were from the Russian Pacific Fleet’s 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade.

It comes as combat in Donetsk continues, with the most intense skirmishes taking place in the cities of Vuhledar and Maryinka. Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, stated that Russia conducts 50 assaults each day in Donetsk.

On Saturday evening, Ukrainian forces shot down five drones, four Shahed killing drones and one Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone over the partially held Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk areas, according to Kyiv’s military.

Russian attacks in Donbas coincide with worries that Putin is planning a fresh all-out offensive in the region to coincide with the war’s one anniversary on February 24.

Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin unleashed the most powerful missile strike in history, launching 17 missiles in less than an hour.

For hours, air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine as Vlad’s forces bombarded the country with a massive wave of strategic bombers, killer drones, and rockets.
