Taken in pill form, the miracle drug works by eliminating cells that contribute to the aging process in the human body, potentially doubling our lifespan.
Human aging is accelerated by cells called “zombie cells”, scientifically known as senescent cells. These cells stop dividing throughout life and release compounds that accumulate in the body and eventually accelerate aging.
Miracle Drug To Extend Human’s Life Span
The drug was tested in mice in a 2020 study and resulted in improved physical function, health, and longevity. Scientists are now working to replicate the results in humans.
“I don’t think there’s an absolute limit to how long we can live,” said Dr. Steele to MailOnline.
“I don’t know the physical or biological reason why humans haven’t lived to 200. The question is whether we can develop the biomedicine to make it possible.’
British computational biologist Dr. Andrew Steele, in his book on human longevity, argued that it is perfectly feasible for humans to live longer than 100 years on certain classes of drugs.
The book says that research in analytics (drugs aimed at eliminating cells that impair tissue function) is already showing promising results and could hit the market within the next decade.
“Every few years, studies come out that suggest fundamental limits to human lifespan, but they always miss an important factor. No one has ever tried to treat the aging process. “
The pill has reportedly already been tested on humans and is very likely to hit the market within the next decade. But even if science succeeds, the question remains whether people want to live another 100 years.

Study Of Reptiles’ DNA
Another area of particular interest to anti-aging scientists is the study of the DNA of reptiles and other poikilotherms.
Michigan State University experts have begun studying dozens of long-lived reptiles and amphibians, including alligators, salamanders, and turtles that can live up to 120 years. The team hopes to uncover “features” that humans can also target.
Some experts believe that eradicating major killers such as cancer, dementia, and heart disease could be the real key to longevity.
