Louisiana SNAP Benefits: Here’s Where You Can Get Food Stamps Discounts in December!

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), which offers low-income households food-purchasing assistance, administers SNAP benefits in Louisiana.

  • Amazon Prime: Louisiana residents who get SNAP benefits can subscribe to Amazon Prime EBT Discount for just $6.99 per month or nearly half the standard price.
  • Computers, the internet, and mobile devices: Through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), qualified SNAP beneficiaries in Louisiana may be eligible to receive up to a $30 per month discount on internet access as well as a $100 credit toward a qualified laptop, tablet, or desktop computer. The federal Lifeline program, which gives up to $9.25 off your mobile phone bill or home broadband internet connection, can be used in conjunction with the ACP discount.
  • Farmers’ markets: The Red Stick Rewards program in Louisiana increases access to fresh foods for SNAP beneficiaries by matching purchases up to $15 per dollar.
  • Zoos, aquariums, and museums: The Museums For All program in Louisiana allows SNAP EBT participants to visit seven museums for free or at a reduced price.
