Just in time for the holidays, three lucky winners in Texas cashed in sizable checks for their Powerball winnings.
After claiming a winning Powerball ticket for the drawing on November 12, a Manor resident is now $2 million richer, the Texas Lottery reported Tuesday (November 22).
Texans Win $4 Million in Lottery
The Austin H-E-B located at 10710 Research Blvd. sold the winning Quick Pick ticket. The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, correctly predicted all five of the white ball numbers (16-20-44-57-58), but not the red Powerball number (6).
On November 9, a resident of Liberty Hill also had the good fortune to win $1 million in the Powerball drawing. The winning ticket was bought at QuikTrip on 1911 North. Cedar Park’s Bell Boulevard. The ticket did not match the red Powerball number, but did match all five of the white ball numbers (7-14-24-30-56). (7).
The final winner of the $1 million Powerball jackpot for the November 7 drawing was a Richmond resident. The winning ticket was bought in Houston at C’s Speedy Mart, located at 7433 1/2 Bissonnet St.
The winning ticket contained all five of the white ball’s drawn numbers (10-33-41-47-56), however the red Powerball number was absent (10). There are Powerball drawings every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 CT.
The winning ticket, according to the Texas Lottery, was purchased at the QuikTrip convenience shop at 1911 N. Cedar Park’s Bell Boulevard.
Since several residents of the region have won millions off their lottery tickets in the previous month, luck must be in the air in Central Texas.
