John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are the brains behind the upcoming spy thriller television series Rabbit Hole, which will air on Paramount+ in the United States.
In this television series, the protagonist, John Weir, is a skilled corporate spy. He is falsely accused of murder by a shadowy power that rules the world; but, as Weir fights back against this authority, he ultimately finds himself battling for democracy.
The series is also executive produced by Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Gogolak, Suzan Bymel, and Hunt Baldwin, in addition to Requa and Ficarra, who are also executive producers. The first episode of the series will drop very shortly.

Rabbit Hole Release Date
In May 2021, Paramount+ placed the initial order for an espionage drama series, and in February 2022, the title Rabbit Hole was revealed to be the show’s working title.

In May of 2022, production on the series got underway in Ontario, largely in the city of Toronto, with some additional sequences being shot in Hamilton.
There has not yet been an official announcement made on the release date of the series. However, we are able to forecast that it will be available in the middle of the year 2023.
Rabbit Hole Cast
Deadline said in February that Kiefer Sutherland would play James Weir, a “private espionage operative,” on “Rabbit Hole.” Aside from Sutherland’s lead role, not much is known about the rest of the show’s cast.
But the IMDb page for the show shows that Rob Yang, who used to be on “American Rust,” has joined and will play a character named Edward Homm.
It’s not clear what his relationship is with James Weir or what role he will play in the plot of the show. The plot summary for “Rabbit Hole” on Deadline says that Sutherland’s character, James Weir, “finds himself in the middle of a battle over the preservation of democracy in a world where misinformation, behavioral manipulation, the surveillance state, and the interests that control these extraordinary powers are at odds with each other.”
