Fans of Boku no Hero Academia will soon be able to watch the sixth season of My Hero Academia.
The long-running anime is often compared to the worlds of Marvel and DC, and it is full of the kinds of superheroes and supervillains that populate western comics and movie theatres.
But, unlike those worlds, My Hero Academia always tries to be weirder, funnier, and more human than your average spandex adventure.
Freed from the limitations of live-action, the show gets to the heart of superhero stories with all kinds of quirks. And we mean that in every way. So it’s no surprise that this show keeps going with the same kind of determination that helps Izuku Midoriya at UA High.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Release Date
After a few months of not knowing, including a vague magazine cover for The Weekly Shonen Jump, we now know that season 6 of My Hero Academia will start on October 1.

The show will air in Japan that Saturday and streaming service Crunchyroll plans to put it online soon after, though the exact date and time are not yet known.
Seasons two through five of My Hero Academia each had 25 episodes, so we’d expect season six to have the same number. So, the season 6 finale should come out by the end of March at the latest.
My Hero Academia Season 6 Plot
At the end of the fifth season of My Hero Academia, there was a scene after the credits where Class 1A looked out at a city full of bad guys. So, we know that season six will likely be about the Paranormal Liberation War, which is a big event in their world.

This will lead to a super-group of bad guys coming together to fight against our heroes.
It’s also one of the most anticipated and talked-about manga stories by Kohei Horikoshi, so there are plenty of reasons to get excited! If you need to catch up, the Paranormal Liberation War is the main focus of the graphic novels from chapters 253 to 306.
Without giving too much away, the Heroes now know enough about the Paranormal Liberation Front to face them head-on. This is thanks in large part to Hawks’s sneaky spy work.
Before that, though, Studio Bones has also said that fans who can’t wait for new episodes will get two new OVAs. In a cute nod to the sports shonen genre, the first one, called “HLB,” will be about our heroes playing baseball. Watch for it in June of 2022.
