Could “Black Adam” star Dwayne Johnson be in the order of DC Films? David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, has said that the studio is looking for DC’s answer to Kevin Feige. The latter runs Marvel Studios and is in charge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When Variety asked Johnson if he could wear the mask on the red carpet at the vast “Black Adam” premiere in Times Square, the star took a long drink of water before saying he was ready to look for the right person for the job.
“The best job I could have for DC would be as a consultant, where I could help. I love DC. “It’s in my blood,” Johnson told Jordan Moreau of Variety magazine. “In the spirit of having grown up with DC Comics. I’m here to help in any way possible, including looking for and finding the right leader or leaders.”
In his answer, Johnson also talked about how he has been interested in DC Comics since childhood.
Johnson said, “When I was a little boy, I loved the Super Friends, especially Superman.” “When I saw my first Black Adam comic, it caught my attention. He had a grave face. He was cool, different, and badass, and his skin was brown. So it was easy for me to understand him. I’m DC all the way through.”

In “Black Adam,” Dwayne Johnson’s antihero is part of a large cast that includes Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate and Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman. However, the actor’s ideas about which other superheroes could appear with his character go far beyond his upcoming movie and even the larger DC universe. When asked about the possibility of a DC-Marvel crossover event, Johnson said it would depend on how much fans want it.
“Well, I always have hope. I would like to think that would happen. I believe that anything can be done. First, let’s talk about the end goal. And if the end goal is to have a crossover that fans will find interesting, innovative, and calm, Johnson said, “that can be done.
“If they want to see something like that, let’s get a thermometer. Then, if they want it, let’s make it. This is how I run my businesses. I really think that anything can take place. Anything can happen with the right people and place, exemplary leadership, and the right conversations.
The movie “Black Adam” comes out on Oct. 21.
