When will the seventh season of Outlander be available to watch? Outlander is a thrill that can only properly be characterized as a time-traveling experience.
The show is based on the same-named novel series written by Diana Gabaldon. Since it was first shown on Starz in 2014, fans have been captivated by the fact that this particular historical TV series never fails to amuse us.
Any Outlander fan who has been following the series for a significant amount of time is aware that the Fraser family’s life is never easy, and following the conclusion of season 6, our optimistic settlers have found themselves in peril once more.
Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) had once again parted ways at the end of the previous season, and the outbreak of the American Revolution is just around the corner. It is easy to understand why people are so eager to find out what the next episode of the drama series will bring after the amount of suspense that has been built up.
Fortunately, Outlander season 7 has already been ordered and production is underway on it. Therefore, in preparation for the impending release, we have conducted some research into the timeframe in order to provide you the inside scoop all the way from the year 1700.
The release date, the storyline, the characters, and everything else you need to know about Outlander season 7 are included in this article.

Outlander season 7 is expected to premiere either during the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023, according to statements made by Starz to Deadline on the production of the series, which is expected to wrap up in the near future.
Keep your fingers crossed that the show will be released sooner rather than later! In any case, we are going to keep a close lookout for any new information that may emerge.
What Will Happen in Outlander Season 7
Season 7 of Outlander is based on the seventh novel, An Echo in the Bone. Considering this, we can piece together the next chapter.
Gabaldon’s website describes the work as having four key storylines: Jamie and Claire, Roger and Brianna (and family), Lord John and William, and Young Ian.

According to the book, we’ll still be following the Fraser family in the 1700s, throughout the American Revolution, with Jamie becoming increasingly involved. If all goes according to plan, our dashing hero will end himself encountering his old buddy Lord John and Lord John’s’son’ William.
The Netflix series isn’t 100% accurate to Outlander’s novel timeline. Like previous seasons, we don’t know which portion of Outlander will be adapted. A Breath of Snow and Ashes and Written In My Own Heart’s Blood may also appear.
Denzell and Rachel Hunter are also expected to feature in the future series, so it’s probable it will adapt portions of the seventh Outlander novel, An Echo in the Bone.
Little Ian’s affection for Rachel is a crucial story factor in this novel and the next. Not only does Rachel get involved with the family. Denzell ends up attracting the attention of Dottie, Lord John’s niece, who joins the household under the pretense of being in love with William.
Outlander season 7 will contain Jamie’s hidden son William Ransom, who we last saw as a youngster. William will return as an adult, still oblivious of his actual father…for now. Charles Vandervaart will play the grown-up William in 2022.
The series will presumably follow the book’s premise and follow the man as he joins the British Army to quiet the American Colonies. Maril Davis said Vandervaart would play William in Outlander season 7.
Davis: “Fans have been excited to meet William Ransom.” Finding someone with the talent and physicality to play Jamie’s kid was difficult, but Charles’ charm was clear throughout auditions. We’re anxious to see what he brings to William’s multi-layered journey.
When discussing Outlander season 7, we must also consider season 6’s unsolved mysteries and cliffhangers. Claire and Jamie battle to safeguard their house in season 6, episode 8, but the villagers demand that Claire stand trial for the death of Malva Christie.
Jamie must plan a jailbreak before Claire’s execution if she’s proven guilty. The next season will feature a freedom attempt and uncover who killed Malva.
The next season will explore Wendigo Donner’s return and how it affects the family. Brianna announced she was pregnant again last season, so she and Rodger must decide how to raise their children.
The Frasers are in for a drama-filled, action-packed episode. We’ll keep you updated.
Outlander Season 7 Cast

That means Sam Heughan will reprise his role as Jamie, Caitriona Balfe will reprise her role as Claire, Sophie Skelton will reprise her role as Brianna, and Richard Rankin will reprise his role as Rodger Mackenzie, Brianna’s husband.

Outlander Season 7 Has How Many Episodes?
Outlander season 7 has 16 episodes. Starz is making up for a lost time after the Covid-19 epidemic limited season 6 to eight episodes (yay).
Caitriona Balfe discussed season 7’s additional episodes with Digital Spy. “We took the four episodes we would have recorded [for season 6] and put them at the beginning of season 7,” Balfe added.
We can still do Outlander the way we always have; we take our time and let the tale evolve.
We’re hardly moaning about additional ‘Outlander’ episodes after last year’s drought.
