Waco O’Guin, Roger Black, and Lance Reddick of Farzar discuss the potential of the new Netflix series and the pleasure they had making it.
Farzad, which takes set on an extraterrestrial planet, is a crude and ridiculous parody of a certain subgenre of science fiction animated adventures.
Farzad primarily focuses on his pitiful son Michael and his longtime enemy Bazarack (both played by Dana Snyder), both of whom have a habit of preying on King Renzo’s annoyances.
The film stars Lance Reddick as the perpetually combative and aggressive King Renzo.
To divert the young man, Michael is tasked with organising a group of idiots and disgruntled people.
The Executive Producers of Farzar, Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, who also created the Netflix animated series Paradise SD, fully embraced the freedom provided by the streaming platform.
Farzad is an absolutely bonkers show. Before the animated series Farzar premieres on Netflix on July 15, O’Guin, Black, and star Lance Reddick sat down for an exclusive chat with CBR to discuss it.
Additionally, the gang discussed how they saw a glimmer of compassion in Reddick’s character Renzo and revealed which outrageous joke they utilised to introduce the show to the streaming service.

Farzad: Cast
Bloodshed, robots, odd alien species, dark humour, uncomfortable sexual jokes, more awkward sexual jokes, unfair fights to the death, naked gymnastics, explosions, and a really big mouth all appear in Farzad.
All of that will happen when Farzar prince Michael (voiced by Dana Snyder) decides to organise a team to defend his planet and prove to his parents that he is a strong warrior.
In addition to Prince Michael, Snyder will also voice the evil alien commander Bazarack and Billy, a chimaera-like killing machine who acts as the group’s voice of reason.
The other voice actors are Jerry Minor, who plays Scootie the half-android, half-soldier, Lance Reddick, who portrays Renzo the czar of Farzar, Grey Griffin, who plays the slightly older Queen Flammy, David Kaye, who plays brilliant scientist Barry Barris, Carlos Alazraqui, who portrays infiltrated alien Zobo, and Kari Wahlgren, who plays Mal and Val.
The cast of the new series Farzar includes several talented and passionate voice actors from the film and television industries.
Farzad: Plot
The protagonist of the Farzar story will be a conceited warrior by the name of Renzo. The warrior drove Bazarack, a perverse alien, off the planet Farzad.
Renzo attempts to protect mankind from the alien habitat by ascending to the position of Czar of Farzar and attempting to erect a huge dome over a human hamlet.
The narrative will also follow Prince Michael, Renzo’s princely son, and his dissident group as they struggle to drive out the evil aliens from the dome-protected series.
S.H.A.T. refers to Michael’s crew (Special Hostile Assault Team).
Prince Michael embarks on a mission to save the planet with his less-than-stellar crew to prove to his parents that he is not a worthless loser but a powerful, magnificent warrior.
The crew of Prince Michael consists of a human soldier-turned-cyborg named Scootie, a deranged scientist named Barry Barris, quarrelling conjoined twins named Mal and Val, and an entertaining little extraterrestrial named Zobo.
When they engage in a fight with the aliens, Michael and his company realise that nothing is as it seems and that he might be telling them lies.
Michael’s mother, Queen Flammy, is shown spoiling her son and pressuring her husband to talk about running the city, which he initially thinks is a great idea but later gets criticised for the decisions with obvious flaws.
Roger Black and Waco O’Guin are the minds behind the animated programmes Farzar, Paradise PD, and Brickleberry. The first season of the animated science fiction show will consist of 10 episodes.

Conclusion
The team will be working to set their latest project apart from other iconic sci-fi/comedy projects that came before it, particularly the aforementioned and similarly coarse-mouthed Rick and Morty.
Although Farzar’s influences and inspirations are obvious, they are not the only ones.
With the show, they also seek to rekindle listeners’ imaginations. Farzad, which has 10 episodes, ought to stand out on July 15 when it premieres on Netflix.
