Blockbuster, a dramatised story set in the final Blockbuster video shop in the United States, will debut on Netflix on November 3, according to an announcement made by the streaming service.
The sitcom will have Randall Park and Melissa Fumero in starring roles.
The show is run by Vanessa Ramos, whose previous work can be seen on Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, among other shows.
In addition to Tyler Alvarez and Madeleine Arthur, the ensemble also consists of Olga Merediz, JB Smoove, and Kamala Fairburn.
“Timmy Yoon is a dreamer of the analogue world who lives in the realm of 5G. And after finding out that he is operating the last Blockbuster Video in the United States, Timmy and his staff members (including his long-time crush, Eliza, played by Melissa Fumero) battle to remain relevant, even though they are the only ones left “a synopsis claimed.

According to a statement made by the streaming service, the premiere of the dramatised story Blockbuster, which takes place in the final Blockbuster video shop in the United States, will take place on Netflix on November 3.
Randall Park and Melissa Fumero have been cast as the lead characters in the upcoming sitcom.
Vanessa Ramos, whose past work has been featured on a variety of sitcoms including Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, is the show’s producer and showrunner.
Olga Merediz, JB Smoove, and Kamala Fairburn are the other members of the ensemble. Tyler Alvarez and Madeleine Arthur are also a part of this group.
