In Hollywood, acting pedigrees go back several generations. The entertainment industry is a family business for many of the most successful celebrities in the sector.

Arquette Family
Although the five Arquette siblings are the ones who have achieved the most notoriety, their father Lewis (The Waltons) and grandpa Cliff (Dave and Charley) were also well-known actors in Hollywood during their respective eras.
In the same vein as her sister Patricia, who was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boyhood, Rosanna (Desperately Seeking Susan, Pulp Fiction) is an accomplished actress (2014).
Brother David (Scream, Never Been Kissed) may be the most recognisable of the three siblings because of his acting work, his time spent as a professional wrestler, and his marriage to Friends star Courteney Cox. The work of fellow siblings Richmond and the late Alexis (The Wedding Singer) was met with less critical acclaim.
It was the Baldwin Brothers. Even if they have matured a little bit, the legendary Baldwin Brothers have had their fair share of memorable and infamous events both on and off the screen throughout their careers.
Alec is the eldest of the four brothers, and also the most successful (The Hunt for Red October, The Cooler, 30 Rock). William (Backdraft) is still active in the profession, Stephen (Born on the Fourth of July, The Usual Suspects) has maintained his versatility in the industry, and Daniel (Mulholland Falls) is more known for his struggles with substance abuse.
Genealogy of the Barrymores
Drew Barrymore, a troubled child star who went on to become an adult Hollywood superstar (known for roles in films such as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Boys on the Side, and The Wedding Singer), has been the Barrymore most people are familiar with for the better part of four decades.
However, the story of her great uncle Lionel, who was a member of the Barrymore theatrical elite, is where it all started.
He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in A Free Soul (1931), and he also acted in It’s a Wonderful Life (1946). During the time of silent films, his brother John was recognised for the work that he did.
Family from Bridges
In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Lloyd Bridges starred in the television series Sea Hunt. He also had a great supporting role in the 1980 film Airplane! and made guest appearances on Seinfeld.
Sons Beau, who has won three Emmys and two Golden Globes, and Jeff, who won an Oscar for his performance in 2009’s Crazy Heart, have more than carried on the family’s acting legacy, which also includes the boys’ mother, Dorothy. Both Beau and Jeff have won awards for their work.
Family of the Carradine
Although John Carradine was a respected character actor during his day, from the 1930s through the 1960s, it was his sons and grandchildren who brought the Carradine name into the public consciousness and made it a household name in Hollywood.

His sister Talia Shire (Rocky), his nephew Nicolas Cage (Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas), and Shire’s son Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore) have all added to the family’s acting prowess, making the Shires’ clan a veritable Hollywood powerhouse. It has been stated that more than twenty Academy Award nominations have been extended to the descendants of Carmine Coppola and Italia Pennino.
The Family Curtis
It is arguable that Jamie Lee Curtis, known for roles in films such as Halloween, Prom Night, and True Lies, is more famous than her actor parents; but, she had to begin somewhere. Her late father, Tony Curtis, who is most known for his roles in films such as “The Defiant Ones” and “The Boston Strangler,” had a cinematic career that lasted for sixty years.
It is possible that Jamie Lee Curtis’s late mother, Janet Leigh (who starred in the film Psycho), was responsible for her meteoric rise to fame as the “scream queen” of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Family of the Cusacks
It is common knowledge that the Cusack siblings include Joan (Working Girl, School of Rock, and Shameless), John (Better off Dead, Say Anything…, and High Fidelity), and Ann (Grey’s Anatomy, A League of Their Own, and Sully).
However, in addition to having a great job as an advertising executive, their father also had a career as an actor (in roles such as “My Bodyguard” and “Eight Men Out”) and an even more impressive career as a documentary filmmaker.
Dern Family
Laura Dern, the winner of the Golden Globe and Emmy Awards for her roles in Jurassic Park, Enlightened, and Big Little Lies, undoubtedly benefited from the family DNA with which she worked.
Her father, the legendary actor Bruce Dern (Coming Home, Nebraska), is widely regarded as one of the best actors in the history of cinema. Her mother, Diane Ladd, was nominated for an Academy Award for the roles she played in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (1974), Wild at Heart (1990), and Rambling Rose (1993). (1991).
Deschanel Family
We are familiar with the actresses Emily (Bones) and Zooey (New Girl, 500 Days of Summer), but these talented sisters have spent their entire lives working in the entertainment industry.

The Family Douglas

Princess Leia will forever be a role for which the late Carrie Fisher, daughter of Debbie Reynolds, will be remembered and adored. Joely Fisher, who is most known for her roles on Ellen and Last Man Standing, is the daughter of Steven Fisher and has also achieved success in her own acting career.
Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, has appeared in several films and television shows, including Ticket to Paradise (2017), American Horror Story (2017-22), and Booksmart (2019). (2022).
Fonda Family
Another family that has been responsible for the production of three generations of talented actors. Henry Fonda was a legendary actor who received his long-awaited Oscar for his work in the film On Golden Pond in 1981.

Even though Walter Huston was one of the earliest stars of talkies, his son John Huston received the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Cardinal (1963). On the other hand, John Huston is regarded as one of the greatest screenwriters and directors of all time.
