What Will We See in Severance Season 2?
Severance follows Mark, a member of the Macro data Refinement team of Lumon Industries. After his wife Gemma passes away, he chooses to participate in the aforementioned severance program, which causes his view of reality to become split into two: his “innie” only remembers a working life with his coworkers, while his “outie” has no recollection of anything related to work.

Mark is unaware of who Helly, Irving, and Dylan are on the outside.
Therefore, we intended to portray the story in that way for Season 1, but in Season 2, we’ll reveal all of these characters from the outside. Like Mark, every one of them underwent this treatment for a different reason and is currently going through some sort of healing phase.
Before the biggest twist of them all—severed gemma’s body—Mark discovered that Gemma wasn’t just alive, but also employed at Lumon as a wellness advisor to Ms. Casey.
