After the premiere of the international mega-hit Squid Game, the streaming giant has announced that it will provide viewers with the fourth season of You in 2021. The show stars Penn Badgley as the extremely hot yet deadly serial murderer, Joe Goldberg.
You can only imagine how ecstatic we are to find out that there will be additional episodes in the not-too-distant future. Only a few days before the start of the third season, it was revealed that there will be the fourth season of You.

The Plotline of You Season 4

The series follows Joe Goldberg, a serial killer who runs a bookstore, as he goes through intense concentration and passionate love. For each season, Joe assumes a different persona. He will, however, continue to portray the same character in You Season 4.

Joe should return in You Season 4 as Love Quinn (played by Victoria Pedretti) and Henry are raising their young son, Henry, in the made-up Californian suburb of Madre Linda. In Season 3, Joe makes a commitment that there won’t be any more unfavourable things.
He will, however, continue to portray the same character in You Season 4. A teaser trailer was also released along with the fourth season of You on Netflix. In the video, Joe Goldberg can be seen bothering his first love, Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Joe is heard stating in the teaser, “I would do anything for you, I just want to be good enough for you.
The clips show his wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) making love to Joe in bed and repeating, “I did everything I could for you, for you, for you.”
Tati Gabrielle’s character from Season 1’s Marianne responded, “No, I think Joe will stay the same. If someone is ever going to recover and change, it will be a significant challenge for them to be this severely unwell, disturbed, traumatised, and violent. I’m not sure if someone who’s so lost can still do it.
Tati Gabrielle might appear in You Season 4 as well, though Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed it. In an earlier scene, Joe was seen travelling to France and looking for Marianne in Paris. Joe might keep up the cycle of obsession in You Season 4 by developing a growing interest in Natalie Engler, the neighbour.
Gabrielle said in the same chat: “Marianne would probably give Joe a dialogue, but I don’t think she’d ever go back to him.
