Any Walmart location that sells food or groceries is authorized to accept EBT card payments for purchases.
You can use your EBT card in the same way that you would use a debit card, and EBT cardholders in 48 states are also able to pay online for Walmart delivery and pickup orders.
Online card payments are accepted in every state with the exception of Alaska and Montana; however, residents of those states who have an EBT card can use it to pay for their purchases when they pick them up.

Signing in to your Walmart pickup & delivery account and selecting Payment Methods is required in order to pay for an online purchase using your EBT card.
According to Walmart, if your local store accepts EBT purchases online, you will see an option to add your EBT card to your account whenever you make a purchase online.
After you have entered your information, click the Save Card button.
After your EBT card has been linked to your Walmart account, you will be able to use EBT Online without having to meet any minimum purchase requirements.
However, the company requests that you give the no-basket minimum option up to a day and a half to take effect on your Walmart account.
You will be able to add items to your cart after your payment information has been saved. You can also check your cart to see if any of the items are eligible for EBT.
If you want to buy non-eligible items, you’ll need to come up with an additional method of payment for them.
Choose Checkout to continue with the process. After that, on the screen that asks you to choose a method of payment, select the option to pay with your EBT card by clicking the corresponding checkbox.
You will then be given the option to select the amount of EBT cash or EBT food that you would like to use.
You can pay the remaining balance with either your credit or debit card, even if you do not have enough funds in your EBT account.

After selecting Continue and entering the PIN for your EBT card, you will be able to continue completing your transaction with Walmart and receive your receipt. Following that, you will be able to give your approval for the transaction.
Your Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits cannot be used to cover the cost of the delivery fee or any other fees that are associated with placing an order through a delivery service.
You are required to pay for these costs using either your credit card or your debit card. Neither cash nor checks are acceptable forms of payment. There will be no exceptions made for checks or cash payments.
