The SummerSlam match between Riddle and Seth Rollins was removed from the schedule.
According to reports, “creative modifications” are to blame.
On September 3, the two are anticipated to face off at Clash at the Castle.
Due to how quickly Riddle’s star has risen, the encounter between Seth Rollins and Riddle at SummerSlam on this coming Saturday, July 30, was one of the most eagerly anticipated events for WWE fans.
However, following a curb stomp to the steel stairs outside the ring and an attack by Rollins to end the July 25 episode of Raw, Riddle collapsed.
The former mixed martial arts fighter was injured in the attack and is now “medically disqualified until full strength returns,” according to the information posted a short while ago on WWE’s social media accounts.
According to the company, this will make Riddle and Rollins’ match ineligible for SummerSlam.
Fans were upset about the event being postponed, but Triple H, the new creative boss, may have played a role in what actually happened.
According to Fightful Select, the organisation chose to postpone the event and that changes were made as a result of “creative tweaks.”

The aforementioned professional wrestling outlet also disclosed that the new strategy for the pair is to compete against one another at WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view, Clash at the Castle, which takes place in Cardiff, Wales, on September 3. However, those modifications remain a mystery.
Later, Fightful stated that Rollins is still anticipated to fly to Nashville, Tennessee owing to media responsibilities before SummerSlam, although it is unknown whether he would face a challenger there.
Rollins apologised on Twitter to his followers for being unable to join him onstage at SummerSlam, and Triple H curiously commented on his tweet.
Fans are already speculating that Rollins will have a mystery opponent lined up for him similar to how he was assigned the duty of welcoming Cody Rhodes back to WWE during WrestleMania 38. What that means is entirely up in the air until this Saturday.
Since Riddle’s tag team partner Randy Orton is still recovering from back surgery and is anticipated to miss the rest of the year as he recovers, Riddle has been operating alone for a time.
Due to his charisma on the mic and high-energy move set, the former NXT mainstay has been gaining a sizable fan base on the main roster, making fans eager to watch him perform every night.
WWE may give Riddle and Rollins around four more weeks to develop their plot before Clash at the Castle if the modifications are made a few days before SummerSlam.
