The deadline for most Americans to get their $1,400 stimulus check passed on April 18th.
People in Massachusetts and Maine, on the other hand, have till today to see if they can acquire a stimmy.
Due to a slew of holidays this year, tax day fell on April 18; however, Patriots’ Day falls on April 18 for residents of Massachusetts and Maine, so the tax deadline was pushed back an extra day.
The funds might be distributed to those who did not receive the third stimulus payment, which was part of Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan last year.
If you didn’t get a check, you might be eligible for a Recovery Rebate Credit.
Eligible taxpayers can use the Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2021 tax returns to claim their missing stimulus check. On the other hand, the third stimulus check must be claimed on the 2021 tax return.
Even those who don’t usually file taxes must do so to receive the stimulus payment.
To take advantage of the Recovery Rebate Credit, you must first declare any stimulus funds you got this year and the amount you were due to call.

Singles must earn $75,000 or less, or $150,000 for couples, to be eligible for the entire $1,400 check.
At $80,000 and $160,000, the payments decrease and eventually phase out completely.
