Angela Marie Stathopulos, 21, was arrested on Monday on accusations of second-degree murder and armed robbery conspiracy, according to the arrest report. One of her suspected accomplices, Surabis Alonso, 25, was detained earlier this month on a second-degree murder allegation. According to the police report, Stathopulos contacted 23-year-old Frank Pedro Orama and agreed to acquire cocaine from him for $7,200.

According to the allegation, Orama provided Stathopulos with a meeting place, and Stathopulos informed Orama that she would be arriving alone with her kid. According to the report, Stathopulos drove from Hallandale Beach with Alonso and another man, 23-year-old Mario Castillo, in the backseat, equipped with guns. The trio did not have the $7,200 and intended to rob Orama, according to the report. The gang arrived at the area in the 20800 block of Southwest 234th Street, and while Stathopulos was speaking with Orama, Alonso, and Castillo exited the car and began firing at Orama, who returned fire, according to the report. Orama and Castillo were slain in the shooting, and Stathopulos was shot while in the automobile, according to the report. Stathopulos was hospitalized in critical condition, but he survived. According to Miami-Dade jail records, on Tuesday, Alonso and Stathopulos remained in custody without bond. Attorney information was not accessible.
