According to an arrest report, Ajeskca Lucas, 46, was first arrested by her department on September 10 for an incident involving her ex-girlfriend. According to police, the former couple lived together until July 21.

According to the report, the victim received a temporary injunction against Lucas on July 23. A judge prolonged the order until Aug. 9, 2026, after deciding that the victim “was in imminent danger of becoming a victim of domestic violence,” according to the report. According to the complaint, on September 9, the victim contacted police and stated that Lucas had breached the injunction, citing video evidence. Police confirmed that the victim presented them with Ring doorbell footage from 1:08 p.m. on September 9, 2024, showing Lucas knocking on the victim’s front door. Lucas was arrested at her own home the next day. Police stated she exercised her rights and asked for counsel. Lucas was released on house arrest, but police said she was detained again Sunday for tampering with and removing her GPS ankle monitor.

She was still in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday afternoon, bonding out for $3,500. Lucas has been with the department for 4 1/2 years and is now employed by the Hammocks District, according to MDPD. She has been released from duty with pay.
