A 47-year-old gas station employee is charged with attempted murder after reportedly violently punching a customer who smashed the store’s nacho cheese machine.
According to KVVU-TV, officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department arrived at an Arco station early on September 3 after receiving a complaint of a man on the grass bleeding from his head, nose, and ears. Officers responded and brought the guy to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for several brain bleeds, skull fractures, and other injuries.
According to KLAS-TV, a man getting gas observed the victim and approached Myron Bullie, the gas station attendant, standing outside. Bullie allegedly stated, “I’m not going to call 911.” He’d better have learned his lesson. The witness then informed the police about the situation.
Bullie allegedly informed police that the victim purchased nachos and put too much cheese on the chips, causing the machine to fail. He reportedly kicked the victim out of the store, but he returned minutes later and requested his nachos. Bullie allegedly shoved him out of the business while wielding a baseball bat, resulting in a physical struggle.
KVVU reports. Bullie allegedly punched the victim and hit him with the bat several times. According to the police report, Bullie reportedly beat the victim so hard that he was unable to stand for several minutes. According to KLAS, when police asked him if he struck the victim with the bat, he replied, “If it were hard, his head would’ve been smashed on the… floor, and he would’ve been dead.” According to court documents, Bullie is facing charges of attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon, resulting in significant bodily harm. His bail amount was set at $10,000.
