Pro-Trump Lawyer Taken into Custody After Hearing on Leaked Dominion Emails

A court hearing over Stefanie Lambert’s recent disclosure of internal emails from Dominion Voting Systems resulted in the well-known pro-Trump attorney being shackled on Monday.

The arrest, which was carried out due to an existing warrant linked to Lambert’s failure to appear at previous court sessions in Michigan, marks a significant turn in her legal battles.

Sheriff Leaf’s Controversial Disclosure

Lambert, along with a group of election deniers, orchestrated the release of thousands of Dominion’s internal emails, reigniting baseless claims of voter fraud. This controversy escalated when Lambert provided confidential documents to Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf, known for embracing conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 election.

The leaked documents, obtained through Lambert’s representation of former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne, have diverted attention from Dominion’s defamation lawsuit against Byrne over his election falsehoods.

Lambert’s actions not only risk legal consequences but also pose a threat to Dominion employees’ safety, with reports of new death threats emerging post-disclosure.

A court hearing over Stefanie Lambert’s recent disclosure of internal emails from Dominion Voting Systems resulted in the well-known pro-Trump attorney being shackled on Monday.

During a tense hearing in Washington, Lambert faced sharp interrogation from Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya. Lambert was ordered to refrain from accessing the Dominion documents database, with further hearings slated to address her potential breach of court orders.

Dominion’s legal team vehemently opposed Lambert’s dissemination of the leaked files, branding her claims of Serbian interference in the 2020 election as unfounded and xenophobic.

Lambert’s assertions, echoed by Byrne, have been debunked by intelligence agencies, reaffirming the security of the 2020 election. Amid accusations of spreading falsehoods, Lambert maintained that she handed the documents to law enforcement, urging Congress to investigate alleged foreign interference in the election.

However, Dominion’s representatives condemned Lambert and Byrne’s actions as a continuation of baseless allegations and conspiracy theories. This arrest underscores the legal repercussions faced by individuals propagating election misinformation.

Lambert’s case joins a string of lawsuits filed by Dominion against prominent pro-Trump figures, underscoring the company’s resolve to combat defamation and safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
