Model and actress Cara Delevingne faced a harrowing ordeal as a massive fire engulfed her Studio City, California, home in the early hours of Friday morning, leaving her “heartbroken.”
Expressing her shock and gratitude on social media, Delevingne shared, “My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye so cherish what you have.” She extended her thanks to the firefighters and individuals who assisted in extinguishing the blaze, emphasizing her deep appreciation for their efforts.
A Message of Resilience and Appreciation
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), emergency crews swiftly responded to the 6,650-square-foot, two-story house at 6:13 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the fire had originated in one room at the rear of the house and had escalated into a deep-seated attic fire.
Thankfully, everyone was safely evacuated from the premises, as Delevingne was away in London for her role as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret.”
Despite their efforts, the firefighters faced challenges as they battled the flames. The intensity of the fire caused the roof to collapse as they worked tirelessly to contain it. Ultimately, it took 94 firefighters over two hours to access, confine, and extinguish the flames, as reported by the LAFD.
