To qualify for SNAP payments in Montana, households must adhere to income restrictions. A single-person household should not exceed a net monthly income of $1,215, while an eight-person household’s net monthly income should not surpass $4,214.
The size of the household determines the specific SNAP payment amount, with single-person households receiving $291 per month and larger eight-person households eligible for up to $1,751 per month. For households exceeding eight members, an additional $219 is allocated for each extra person.
