Nashville Shock and Sadness: Missing Woman Emily Bradley’s Body Discovered in Whites Creek

The community of Nashville is reeling after the tragic discovery of the body of Emily Bradley, a 44-year-old woman who had been missing for two weeks. 

The news was announced by Nashville authorities on Sunday, confirming that Emily’s body was found in Whites Creek near Buena Vista Pike.

Authorities Seek Emily’s Missing Car

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) revealed that Emily’s body was discovered on Saturday, March 2, with the Medical Examiner’s Office reporting blunt force trauma as the apparent cause of death. Emily was last seen on February 18 in East Nashville, accompanied by a male companion, according to investigators. 

The investigation took a turn when a license plate recognition camera captured Emily’s vehicle in Hendersonville on February 21. 

However, it remains unclear who was driving the car at the time. As of March 3, authorities are still searching for Emily’s missing gray 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, bearing Florida tag 086PML.

In response to Emily’s disappearance, hundreds of individuals joined the search effort, distributing flyers and sharing information through social media platforms like the Emily Bradley Missing Discussion Facebook group. Despite their efforts, the outcome was heartbreaking.

Emily’s father, Nick Bradley, stated in an interview that he was “hoping for the best but bracing for the worst.” Emily’s friends gathered on Sunday night for a melancholy celebration of Emily’s life, honoring her with flowers, candles, and photos.

The circumstances surrounding Emily’s death and disappearance continue to be investigated, leaving many unanswered questions and a community in mourning. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Emily or her missing vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
