Arrests Made in Case of Missing Colorado Children Found Dead, Encased in Concrete and a Suitcase

Two suspects, Jesus Dominguez and Corena Rose Minjarez, are currently in custody following the grim discovery of the remains of two Colorado children, whose bodies were found under disturbing circumstances.

Jail records reveal that both Dominguez and Minjarez face two counts each of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse in relation to the deaths of Jesus Dominguez Jr. and Yesenia Dominguez, as announced by the police in Pueblo.

Disturbing Case Unfolds

The investigation took a harrowing turn when the authorities, responding to a report of suspicious activity on January 20th, stumbled upon a metal container filled with hardened concrete in a storage unit.

Two days later, the discovery of a young girl’s body inside the container marked the beginning of a tragic unraveling. The girl was later identified as Yesenia, who, along with her brother Jesus, had not been seen since the summer of 2018.

Dominguez, the father of the deceased children, is reportedly in a relationship with Minjarez, who has no familial relation to the Colorado victims.

While the exact nature of their relationship is yet to be officially verified, both individuals, aged 35 and 36 respectively, remain detained on a $2 million bond, according to records from the Pueblo County Jail.

As the investigation progressed, further disturbing details emerged. A vehicle linked to Minjarez was discovered in a scrap yard, and a subsequent search of the car’s trunk on February 6th revealed the body of a boy concealed within a suitcase.

Two suspects, Jesus Dominguez and Corena Rose Minjarez, are currently in custody following the grim discovery of the remains of two Colorado children, whose bodies were found under disturbing circumstances.

DNA testing later confirmed the identities of the victims as Jesus and Yesenia, prompting the issuance of arrest warrants for Dominguez and Minjarez.

Perhaps equally unsettling is the revelation that no missing person’s report had been filed regarding the children prior to the commencement of the investigation last month.

It appears that the tragic fate of Jesus and Yesenia remained unknown until the recent developments prompted law enforcement intervention.

In addition to the murder charges, Dominguez faces an additional charge of theft of government benefits. Meanwhile, investigators have pursued leads extending beyond Colorado, with mentions of the possibility that the children may have been in Phoenix.

However, these leads have thus far yielded no results. This devastating case underscores the importance of vigilance in safeguarding the well-being of children and the necessity of prompt action in response to any suspicions of foul play.

As the investigation continues, the community grapples with the incomprehensible loss of two young lives and seeks justice for Jesus and Yesenia Dominguez.
